Final Notice – ends August 31st
This post is intended for members who have completed Step 1 of the LAP Process and for Lifetime Members of GRTU who wish to pursue eligibility to purchase a LAP Permit for the 2024-2025 Season. If this is not you, please disregard this email.
Step 2 of the LAP has begun. You must validate your record BEFORE August 31st to complete Step 2 and move on to Step 3.
You will need your Membership number when you validate your record. Please type it in down carefully!
The process to validate your record is as follows:
    1. Go to the GRTU website – http://www.grtu.org
    2. Wait for the pop up window that says “LAP VALIDATION STEP”
    3. Click on the bottom box that says “Validate your membership for LAP”
    4. IMPORTANT: Type in carefully your 9 digit membership number in the first box. I have included your membership number in this email. See above.
    5. In the second box, type in the number 123 (That is the only number that you type in the second box!)
    6. Then click on Log In
    7. All your information will be shown on the screen. Make sure it is all correct. If not, please correct it. You will also add your vehicle license plate(s) numbers on this screen. Every item that has a red star by it has to be completed before the record can be submitted.
    8. Be sure and check the Consent box as well
    9. Then click on submit
    10. In just a couple seconds, you will get a message that you were successful.
REMEMBER THIS HAS TO BE DONE BY AUGUST 31ST !!!!!!!!!
You will then have completed Step 2 of the LAP Process.
Step 3 will be signing up for a mandatory online Orientation Session happening in September. You will receive an email from me the first week of September with instructions on how to do this.
    Thank you,
    Robilyn Pettit, GRTU Membership
