I double down the Korkers
Being able to change the soles is great option especially if you fish somewhere up north plus they are very comfortable

LAP is indeed a problem with membership, Being fairly new (not 15yr vet) I finally got assigned last year. I can understand the frustration for seasoned members not getting in, but squeesing out newer members out the LAP is not the answer. Isn’t the goal to grow and get more support for our ever loving fading sport.
I was able to take a couple of guest with guest passes who eventually joined TU.
Best suggestion I’ve seen here to “sort of help” is the weekday/weekend pass. seems reasonable to me – there are some that are only able to fish on weekends and those of us that can fish any day of the week. Most of the weekdays I was there last there were very very few fisherman.
I would also be willing to Share with my pass if there was some way to make that available in the rules.
Then I am expecting someone to comment about an adjustment in cost – well do you want access or not would be my answer.
There are some answers….not perfect mind you but can somewhat curb this situation and no not everyone’s going to be satisfied.
This needs some action of some-kind – Just saying “this is the way it is” is not the answer.
