bought a paiur 3 years ago, the interchangeable soles have been great, After care very important and I am a heavy believer in type of conditioning treatment after a trip. You do have to be a bit more careful on boot removal but, that being said, after a trip, if you had to completely unlace to remove, would it be that bad……..especially for a good trip
