Ugh, such great stretches of water around Kanz being developed.. I knew it couldn’t last forever, but I was really hoping it would..

Hey I noticed this post and as fate has it, I’m hoping to be on the San Juan River/Pagosa Springs in August. I’m debating about trying to float it in a kayak in addition to parking at nearby access points.
Any tips on how the river fishes near Pagosa in August or whether I should go below the Navajo Dam would be greatly appreciated. I’d also appreciate any tips on guides, flies/fly shops, forest road access points.
