They were going crazy for a white woolly bugger I was streaming at CVC last weekend. After struggling with nymphing all afternoon I tied on a white woolly bugger and caught 5 fish in 6 casts, casting almost directly upstream and then stripping it down stream fast and jerky. Then on 7th cast, my fly came loose (probably from those 5 fights) and flew off my line to who knows where.
Had good luck at Action Angler last Sunday. Was hooking fish on miracle midge, woolly bugger, and pink wiggly worm. All of them > 18″!! Some big fish in there!
