In all of these discussions on LAP membership there seems to be a few GRTU members who are asking for special treatment, to be put in front of all other TU members. They say they deserve special treatment because they were members in past years. I ask myself why were they members in past years? Was there any other reason they joined other than wanting to fish for trout during the winter close to home? That seems to me to be a self-serving reason for purchasing a LAP membership. They say they helped with the stockings; again, that is self-serving. Some want only the present LAP members polled as to what their intentions are as to wanting to purchase another year of LAP membership, which again is asking for all the other TU members to be excluded.
GRTU is a 501(c)(3) organization; as such it must comply with many regulations. I would like one of our chapter officers to join this discussion and give us their opinion on if giving special treatment to a select few members, which would disenfranchise all the other TU members, would endanger the chapter’s tax exempt status.
September 17, 2021 at 4:31 pm #12556It’s my understanding that anyone that is a TU member that has a TX address is assigned to the Guadalupe River chapter. Check your TU account, look for Chapter: 066 – Guadalupe River
September 16, 2021 at 7:12 pm #12506I agree with what Jimbo just said. Every member of GRTU should have an equal chance of participating in the LAP.
August 20, 2021 at 1:42 pm #12418Looks like it’s $300 per station per yr. They just haven’t paid the bill.
July 24, 2021 at 3:47 pm #12388Any changes to the LAP should be discussed on a part of the forum that is open to all members of the GRTU chapter.
May 7, 2021 at 9:11 am #12340I’ve frequently see a guy and his family/guests using worms at River Bank.
April 20, 2021 at 1:54 am #12322Congratulations. If you make a video on how you tie this please post a link to it.
April 15, 2021 at 3:52 pm #12314Just voted. Might want to post this on the regular forum, less than 900 people will see it here and maybe 6,000 on the other.
April 5, 2021 at 3:10 pm #12300Go grtu.org, look at the far right on the banner at the top, click on flow, scroll down to the Hobolinks, current temp is displayed and the graphs will show history

March 7, 2021 at 12:44 am #12231Could it be the S turn, between Potts and #5, or maybe JDL. Here is a link to a site that has good aerial views https://cceo.org/html5viewer/?viewer=publicviewer Google Earth is pretty good if you use the look back feature to find photos that were taken during the winter months.
January 19, 2021 at 1:45 am #12154This is how I do it, there are probably other ways. When you sign on to the forum from here https://members.grtu.org/grtu-forums/ your user name will be in a box on the upper right side of the page, click on your user name, that will take you to another page, on the left side are some options, click on messages. I just sent you a private message so it you can see that you’re good to go. A while back there were some problems with the messaging, not sure if they have gotten everything working, I don’t use it often.

January 17, 2021 at 11:08 am #12149I don’t think there has been a post detailing GRTU’s feeding program, there have been references to it in posts on other subjects. Use this link https://members.grtu.org/forums/search/feeding+trout/ and scroll down to post #9981.
