Very nice. how did you set up your rig for tight-lining?
Nice! I decided to come out around lunchtime at Rio right above the dam at #5. Saw lots of fish but none were interested in the least in what I was offering. Nobody else around me got anything either. Couple of guys reported that they had sought a couple in the morning hours.
It was my first time trying Tenkara also – used a large attractor (per GR guide I met in the Austin Orvis store) and a rabbit hare nymph. On the advice of a gentleman going by me I switched to a pink SJ worm. Still no luck. Also tried a streamer (per Orvis advice…) No luck.
Will come early in the morning next time and go down below the dam or to Potts.
