Went out yesterday, Chris helped show me the ropes. He got a couple, I had a couple, on a black wooly bugger, but couldn’t get them in. Guess that’s the next thing to learn, how to keep them on the hook and get them in the net.

My cast is more or less on lock. Not dead on accurate but not too bad at this point.
I’ve fished for trout a couple times (Blanco and and Guadalupe State Park) last year. I spent a few hours in the lower guad near Action Angler last January standing in the water. Not so good at the catching part though. 🙂 It appears the stocked trout in the area of the leased sites are larger than the ones stocked by the state. Would you advise 3, 5 or 8wt?
