Last season Ponderosa offered parking for about $15/day, for river access, parking for biking, etc.. Thier website has been changed and I don’t see that offer now. I read about that on our forum. I have also seen people cross the bridge and go under the fence and then down the steps to the river. I am certainly not sure, but I thought that the property they are using for access is part of L&L. It looks like the only access that Ponderosa has signage on is a ramp just downstream of the bridge that would not offer very good fishing access. Again, these are some assumptions on my part. I am not certain of ownership of any of the access point there.
Here is another self-serving consideration concerning registration for LAP. Include an aspect in the system for those of us, like myself, who have been long time members (15 years) but failed to get in due to the glitches in last years registration. I tried for an hour before having to leave for work and then found the program sold out when I got home.
Sorry I left out that information. I fished there on Monday the 29th.
Wow! Sold out in 10 hours! After a total of 2 hours of trying I am out of luck. What locations on the Guad allow fishing for non-LAP members?
