Steve, Look for GRTU sign on the left, opposite, the Potts home. Cross the street and enter the property on the right side (down stream). Walk to the right along property line and right of equipment stored there. Approaching the slope to the river, you will see stone steps down to a stone bulkhead. Do not access the river via the gazebo like structure, that’s separate property.
NOAA climate models are consistently predicting an El Niño cycle is on and will continue through the winter – which traditionally brings increased tropical activity and cooler, wetter conditions to Texas. Compared to last seasons La Niña, known for dryer conditions here. However, NOAA also reports a historically ‘broader’ area of above average Pacific Ocean temperatures. The effect of these higher temps on historic jet stream and El Niño weather models / patterns is unknown – possibly muting the actual climatic effect. Fingers crossed, the Hill Country is treated to an old fashioned El Niño through January.
