When I picked it up 3 years ago (after watching Alex and JC) I used size 16 tungsten teasers, tungsten pheasant tails, heavy pats, and beaded worms. I was pretty stubborn about learning to cast and drift with no added weight. Once I did learn I started drop shotting (bounce rig) so I can fish any pattern I want (think size 24 midge).

January 12, 2022 at 7:59 am #14759I’ll quadruple the shoutout. I have an Orvis 5 weight they have replaced twice free of charge. I bought it back when they had the lifetime guarantee but the newer 25 year guarantee is the same thing to me now.

I also had a very positive conversation with Sam who convinced me he is very interested in protecting the fishery. Contact info below.

October 6, 2021 at 8:05 am #12957For future reference:
I’ve seen the 2,000 number requirement a few times. Create 1,000 red tags for even days and 1,000 blue tags for odd days. Self policing by LAP members. It’s not perfect but it is a compromise to perhaps get everyone on the river from LAP sites.
All your efforts are appreciated!
Peace,
Scott
(And by self policing I mean take a photo and send it to the board)
