Speaking of little rainbows I have seen 2 giant stripers at barking dog pool and Potts in case anyone wants to try and bag them.

    Alex,

i experienced the same strange phenomenon on my dropper last Thursday but I assumed it was because it was a frenchie and they just dialed into the red collar.

    I did not originate this:

”What makes a good drift is being in the right river on the right day with the right weather with the right streamflows with the right preparation and observation to choose the right fly from your well planned fly box with the right fly set up on your correctly chosen rod and line for the area with the most naturally presented fly possible over the trout.”

    JC,

Thanks for the write up. I find the information on the competitive angling pretty intriguing.

I obviously need to have a name drop in this thread so ill say I missed Lance Egan on the Lower Provo by 15 minutes.

3 guys told me he pulled over in his boat right before I arrived and chatted with them for a while and passed out some flies.

They said he was very nice and gracious. I was pretty bummed out I missed him.

    Cheers,

    Scott

JC, sounds good and looking forward to seeing yall but if I stand too close to you or Alex I wont catch any fish 🙂 They seem to get sucked into your tractor beam.

Jimbo is the early leader in the clubhouse for the six pack. We wont say how many under par he is.

Thanks guys! The river fished well yesterday. I caught more fish than I saw tubers! It was nice and cool too.
