Check with him again. Mine was removed and refunded.

I think it should be a free for all, but maybe dedicate a T1 for the traffic or seek another hosting option, maybe.

I missed out on the LAP last year but still took the kid and helped at the stockings and found ways to fish, clean and help without the access.

The lease access just makes it a LOT easier.

They are sorting through all of that. I got a reply pretty quick. I was told that I wasn’t allowed to auction off the second LAP. Lol.  What email address are you using?

@wiscoy I think we just get to auction off our extra. At least that would be cool. Lol.  I had to grab a couple of OT tours to get the wife to OK it.

I’m sure they’ll refund us and put all the ones people got doubled up on into a pot and open it back up or something along those lines.

Anyone else get double billed in their efforts?

In an unrelated bit of news, selling some choice central Texas trout fishing access to the highest bidder, starting at 1500.

Yeah man. I’m familiar. I was Olmos Park for a little while, now I’m turning the wheel up in Travis County.

Is that 25 years as a tailboard? You deserve a bit of fishing time!

I use studs but I honestly haven’t been able to match the traction I get with my astral shoes. I’m usually wet wading if the day stays any warmer than 55 or so. Like Saturday was… really nice weather

Depends on the rate. I would say hourly is a good interval, but I would bet they dont slam it open. Maybe they do. I noticed a rise last weekend while I was out, came back in higher water than I left in.

Always be mindful of the flow and try to be in a position where you know you can evade a dangerous flow should one become present.

If all else fails be prepared to strip your aaders and gear and swim down at an angle to an Eddie or the shore and watch for strainers you could get caught up in.

These fish are goofy. I had more takes on my bobber(indicator) than on any flies the other day. I was about to just tie a hook to it but too a swim down stream and called it a day.

Striper on the fly is something I plan to dedicate a few days to this winter.

As far as spiney fish being off the menu, I had a nice smallmouth ropped off my fly at the Faust street bridge a couple of months ago and have had the itch ever since.

I’m all for CPR on these guys. Poor handling of the trout account for so much more damage to the population than striper eating  the them. The TPWD foah are really what they’re eating anyways.

Gen and 8 to 10wt, sinking leader and a 10″ rainbow imitation or game changer, manbearpig or something of the likes and prepare to wear your arm out  casting  Bigish deep fast areas and you’ll hopefully be rewarded with a wonderful foght!

Saw several people eat it the past few days. I swam in the fast stuff below 5 a little bit. Kiddie pool isn’t bad right now though.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>That’s a good little swim. Easier to walk up from Rio. Still not “easy”</p>
