GRTU trout feeding program. It was fish pellets you saw floating down stream. Twice a week, at about 8am, since last spring.
Where’s the pictures? I know it’s been 7 months since you posted this but I just saw the add. Do you still have the reel for sale?

Joan, I have put my kayak in at Maricopa (it has a different name now) and take out at Rio Guadalupe. It’s a nice paddle with several good spot along the way. The’re not many other places to launch/take out. Lazy L&L charges $10. for put in/take out.

Before I retired 6 years ago, I rented a room there for the month of December. The whole month for $450. I saved all my vacation time for December. I did that for two years. I think I paid $60. a night on weekends the remainder of the times I came up to fish.
I’m waiting to see how full their parking lot is after they open.
Several low water crossings across the Blanco River were open around noon when I was checking. The river in Blanco looks to be maybe 8 inches higher than yesterday.
At 11:45 PM last night, USGS:1280cfs at Sattler. This morning, river was high and chocolate colored. A few mud slides down river road but not enough to stop travel. Water was still pouring out of the hillsides.
BTW, they are not discharging any water at the dam.
Some how I had a feeling this was going to happen. Good news, we get a do over. I sincerely hope it goes better next time.
