Release from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers:

USACE to reduce water discharge from Canyon Lake to zero for inspection

FORT WORTH, Texas – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Canyon Lake will cease all water releases from Canyon Lake on Thursday, June 6, at approximately 10 a.m. to accomplish a routine inspection of the outlet works stilling basin.

Inspection activities will include a complete dewatering of the outlet works area and may take up to six hours for the inspection. Water flows will be reduced during this time but should be back to safe recreational discharge amounts late in the day.

We understand the impacts to recreation activities and appreciate the patience of everyone impacted while USACE performs this routine inspection.

What are the odds of still being above 909′ MSL in two weeks with current releases?
