Kev, First thing to go- eyes, second- memory. 😉 I had a good day today but had to quit early because I didn’t have enough magnification and it took so long to tie knots my hands started cramping.

Jimbo, I’ll make the same deal as last year; if you are willing to wait to get gravel until AFTER we know there are enough eggs; I’m in. 😉  Will have buckets, tub, etc. For others, this is a worthwhile project and interesting. Work load not that tough in my opinion.

The rod I use most often on the Guadalupe is a Cabelas CZN 11′ 4wt dedicated nymph/indicator rod. Don’t underestimate the value of a proper line, something similar to the Airflo Kelly Galloup Nymph/indicator. That line, on almost any rod, makes the short, precision drift presentation much easier; in my opinion.
