I have used Land of Enchantment Guides and had really good experiences. I think Noah has a office in Santa Fe and they guide mostly around the Chama and San Juan.
I’m assuming LAP regs will be amended to permit bringing deep fryers to LAP sites.
I did the 3 day Black Canyon float on the Gunnison a few years ago with Black Canyon Anglers. It still stands out as maybe the top fly fishing adventure of my life (I’m 72).
And as far as I know Chris is still going up there in the summers and working with them. I have had a couple great trips to the Elk river in BC about 3 hours south of Calgary. No history on the Bow i’m afraid. Good luck.

Funny how computers are supposed to sort of standardize a process yet everyone’s experience is different. My story: LAP sign up went well. Did not ask for TU #. Got Dustin’s email and next day renewed with the link he sent me. Immediately got back credit card confirmation and separate TU member renewal confirmation, which I am saving and guarding like diamonds in case Dustin tries to send my $$ back.

Loved to death or failure to heed the warnings. I don’t want or need special treatment but if you tell me something is going to work and its such a colossal failure I am pissed. I souldn’t have to have a degree in computer science to go fishing.
Went to Colorado Bend SP Friday. Water very low. Found a few. All small males, and a couple of small black bass. Clousers in grey, white, olive or combo of same. Can’t really call it a run yet.

Yep, Same here. Always liked reading about your summer adventures Jimbo but FFA administrators have caught the same bug that somehow convinces them that their security for a fishing web site has to be something akin to that of the Pentagon. How did they know I was planning on toppling the world order with a 5 wt.
Jimbo, Did everything you said but never saw a text prompt; was working froma lap top. Oh well, had no issues last year, maybe my advanced age.

Do they normally announce a release time when they make a big bump in flows like expected tomorrow??
