GRTU Spring 2024 River Cleanup

    GRTU May 11th Spring 24 River Cleanup 9-1 Saturday May 11th at Lazy L&L. Must check in at the office.

    GRTU Spring 2024 River Cleanup in partnership with Texas State Fly Fishing, Texas A&M Fly Fishing and Texas Parks and Wildlife
    Trash bags provided by the TPWD River Access Program.
    BBQ lunch provided by GRTU following cleanup.
    Please bring your own chair, sunscreen, gloves, river shoes, a good hat, and a great attitude. Bring your own paddle-craft if you would like to float the river.

    Please click on the link at the top to sign up and let us know how many people are coming in your group. This will allow us to have the right amount of food & beverage post cleanup and plan the event. There is an additional slot to let us know if you are bringing a personal watercraft to utilize.

    Most trash collected – COSTA Sunglasses of your choosing.
    Most unique piece of trash – Lamson Velocity 9 foot 5 weight rod
    Person who travelled the furthest to attend the cleanup – Mounted and framed – Pink DragonFly, Pink Ladybug and Pink Bee. Signed work by Mike Morphew; He calls it “One for the Ladies”
