The flow on the web site has not changed for a long time it has not been correct all summer. We need to get the lake level and flow rated back up on line since the season is about to gear up and the flow info is real safety item for wade fishing.
I was at #5 this morning turning rocks checking activity. The flow is noticeably down from last Friday ant the water temp. below the weir is 70. Hatch match size is really small 22 or 24 hooks time to just wait for more flow and cooler temps.
It could be the different measuring tools. I was using a digital one listed as meat/ liquid but nice to see the water temp is being watched.
I was on the river Monday looking for a striper but none were found but after fishing I took water temps. at 3 locations on the upper 2 miles of the river . I took them mid stream in flowing water and the coolest temp. was 70.2 going up to 70.4
So far except for a few weeks we have lost the fishing season. There has to be some way to get the flow to be lowered to allow the lap members to enjoy what’s left of the season it’s driving me crazy each day I check to flow and see no change.
After spending some time on the new forum I now have figured how to get around. I would like this topic removed tks
has anyone tried swinging tenkara style flies?
