For exploring, there is no better place to park than Potts. You can walk upstream to S-Turn and downstream to Ponderosa and it is all fishable water.
Thanks for the history lesson Jimbo! Personally, I would rather catch 8-10 medium size(14″-17″) trout than 1 or 2 trophies in a day of fishing.
I use streamers almost exclusively. I like to feel the fish strike and have a hard time concentrating on watching an indicator.
Well this explains why there were so many cars at CVC yesterday.

I do not see the problem with giving current LAP members a right of first refusal for a lease renewal. An email notice could be sent out to current members that they have until a certain date to renew for the next year. Then VP-membership could figure out how many lease memberships will be available to the general public on the signup date. This would probably solve the server problem by not having 2000 people trying to signup at one time.
The only other solution is the one I learned in high school economics class(and it is not going to be a popular one). Increased demand for a limited supply causes inflation, which at some point will cause enough decrease in demand to balance with the supply. I personally do not want to see this happen. I would rather spend my money on new gear and flies.
I received a notice from TU that my membership had expired or was about to expire. Hopefully this is just a technical error and nothing to get too worried about.
