I’d put my money on Matt Bennett’s “Lunch Money” as detailed here:

Thanks for that info Jimbo. I’m glad there’s a positive side.

The flow was about 90 cfs during the cleanup and I thought that was a little fast. But I haven’t fished the Guad yet so I’m learning

I haven’t fished the Guad yet but i did help with the river cleanup when it was flowing at 90 cfs. I can’t imagine that there is any wildlife left with a flow of 300% greater.

What is the long and short term impact?

I guess the fish introduced with the stocking won’t notice. What have past floods like this left us?

Apparently so. That just seemed like a drastic amount of sudden flow change.

So 2 separate Websites show the Guadalupe is flowing at 697 cfs. What the heck happened?

What is the technique for fishing streamers while fishing the Guadalupe? Toss and wait and watch or strip them in, or what exactly?

I’m a new member too and I wasn’t sure exactly what a “streamer” was. I Googled and I see that I have a few in my box.

It sure looks like there are dozens of styles of streamers.

I’m assuming that the ones that most closely mimic standard Texas minnows would work best on the Guad or will beasts like the “ONE Sculpin” work just as well?
