What a great summer and beautiful pictures. The season is stating I will be there. We may cross over in the river .
I spend 4 hours this morning trying to sing in, I request haft of the day off at my work.
I think that is not worth to upgrade the system for a single day of heavy transit. It will be better to do it at the all fashion way. if we are interested in the program, take your car drive to the office make a line and get your ticket. At least in this way anybody who is really interested in the program, will go. We need to drive there any way if we want to fish.
I start fly fishing last year after I went to the kids camp in 2019 with my son, offered tru GRTU. At first I was doing the indicator method. I could not catch any fish. Then I try euro and Trey help me a lot giving me some advise. At this time I start to really enjoy fly fishing getting addicted very fast. Thank Trey you give me a good route to start to enjoy it.
I use a moonshine vesper 10,6 wt 3 euro rod. With a 5/6 ross animas reel.
I’m with Trey and Wiscoy. The ideas are there some better than other. As Jimbo say, it will be a vote for the best and fair way to do it. I’m just waiting for oct 01 to be able to joint another great year in our passion. Hopefully all of us get in and I can say hi on the river.

Why not to make a VIP MEMBERSHIP,
this will give you the chance to renewed your membership, with out the hassle of the sing up on octubre the first. This day will be only for new comers or the ones that where not sure an lost the VIP opportunity.
HOW TO BE VIP MEMBERSHIP.
1) been a GRTU member the prior year. (If you do not sing one year you will be a Rookie again and wait for oct 01.
2) Set a VIP FEE to give the opportunity to sing year after year.
3) charging this VIP fee is to make sure they want to get the spot and used, if not want to paid it they will have their chance in the new comers opportunity on oct 1.
4) doing this we will have people who really want to be part of the program and respect our river.
To be more attractive you could do like special days events for VIP MEMBERS.
and If any member causes an issues with other member or lease propierties that person will lose their VIP status.
I thing this will be a great way to keep together the group of persons who really want to do difference in the river and participate in it.
in the current way there is a lot of good fisherman who lost the opportunity for a year and a lot of them are the best in the group. And at the same time that we lost this fisherman we gane some other that they are not really sure or not have the real interest or they don’t really want to be a part of this and take care of our GRTU.
like in my experience I took my kid to the 2019 youth program and, love and I sing in for the 20/21 season. I just love it and want to be part of this as much as I can. I have known a couple of members and for me is what’s keeping me exited of that they that a can be at the river.
