Pretty sure the sign at Rockin R is missing and the orange cones at Lower Rio have been there for quite a while. The pictures in the FAQ should still be accurate enough to hopefully get you parked in the right place if you wanna give either spot a try.
This is my fourth season with the lease, and during this time I don’t think I’ve ever seen a car parked at either spot. Neither site has been stocked at any of the stockings I’ve been to over the years either. I remember asking about it once and the answer was something along the lines that because the lease spots nearby are stocked trout eventually find their way to these areas.
If I remember correctly, Rockin R has a nice deep pool with a cool looking rock near where you get in the river, but I never caught anything or saw any movement in the water that indicated trout from River Bluff had made their way up. Maybe later in the season a few travel around there.
