Kanz can be a decent late hole. With this low flow idk.
I shouldn’t explain my guide dodging strategies that can help, but I’ve always been too open
and some newer member friends ( Hi Dana, Steve, Buck and all !) may help them.
Know where the guides launch and what time there bound to float through.
ie: If your fishing at #5 on weekends. Expect them from 8:30 – 11:00. Maricopa 8-10 ish etc.
Fish around them or be fishing somewhere else then. Also fish lower areas where the guides don’t float.
If you think its bad now, just wait.
The Browns have been active right a day break. Some of those Bows are pretty …….. spooky, I say.
I’ll also add stealth helps. I see guys tromping thru the water, shouting and stuff. Many caught zero.
Cripes, I can hear you 1/2 way down #5, do you thing the fish don’t hear/feel you ?
I’ve been sneaking around like an Indian to get a few bites.
Hope it helps, no offense anyone.

November 14, 2020 at 8:36 am #11697Some didn’t make it, but some did.
The ones that did are VERY picky and seem to just be swimming around on vacation in small pods.
Also, Browns are smarter and harder to catch than a stocker Bow that will eats any egg, worm or shinny thing.
They were acting more normal recently although.
November 2, 2020 at 8:32 am #11603Use one of the places we stock at.
L & L , Rio, or such if “camping.” There is a Jellystone, if you have kids.
Maricopa has a stay 3 get 1 free, room deal I think.
October 28, 2020 at 9:21 am #11590Interesting.
We should at least review where to stock with the low flows.
Some areas won’t hold fish.
October 23, 2020 at 8:01 am #11534Read Alex and Dana posts again. Good stuff.
I’ll add: The river flow also is a BIG determining factor, in many ways.
October 1, 2020 at 9:54 am #10791Yes, it was very difficult BUT REMEMBER,
the web-site moderator is probably not paid and has volunteered,
he’s a fisherman, not a comp hack and there is a bunch of traffic.
Keep hitting the back/refresh button , I had to re-log and try again.

September 28, 2020 at 9:00 am #10367Push up to JDL area.
There’s some small cuts above JDL on the far side.
March 24, 2020 at 10:15 am #10022Nope, your all clear Alex. Outdoor Rec.
Still a few fish at #5.
The center slot is fishing better than the upper and lower.
Some fish above the weir also.
I also caught a 5 lb. Channel Cat down there last week. 😉
Not sure if I’ll get out again.
