I mean iv seen the fish feeding, it happens right in front of my face. I get that feeding has its benefits i wont argue that. Its more the way he does it that seems kind of malicious. Like a passive aggressive way of saying get off my lawn! Perhaps i have the wrong impression…

I’m sure he is a nice guy IF you know him… but really does a nice guy go up to a fishing hole and dump pounds of feed directly into the water that people are fishing in? Just seems like kind of a dick move.

I mean the 1st time it was prime fishing time late in the afternoon maybe around 6:30. If that’s when he feeds so be it BUT the second time it was 3:30 in the afternoon. Since this happened to me twice in a row and at completely different times of the day that makes me think he does it in a passive aggressive way because he doesn’t like people fishing near his property.

If you know him maybe you could talk to him and see what his point of view is on the situation? Who knows maybe John thinks anglers like him feeding the fish. It does start a feeding frenzy.

I took a half day off yesterday and tried fishing at this spot again thinking if i got out earlier and on a weekday during work hours i may fish while he is at work or something. Except it seems John has no job and spends all day in his back yard and saw me fishing and decided it was time to feed the fish again… i guess i have to give up on that spot.

Thanks for the replies and insight. I guess there isn’t much that can be done and people are already aware of this.

Maybe i should try flies that look like fish pellets lol.
