I’m happy to report that the one and only Chris Jackson found the entire setup, undamaged! Unbelievable!! I was with you Jimbo, I thought for sure there would be damage to the rod (at the minimum) if it ever showed back up, and best case scenario he would’ve been able to send it in to the rod shop for repair. Only thing that may need to be replaced is the fly line. Minimal inconvenience for such an epic loss. I believe that sudden drop in flows likely led to its recovery. Anyway, just wanted to share with y’all, and thank you for your comments. Much appreciated! Chris did say he found it likely due to the 20″ rainbow that was still hooked onto it that ended up in his net 🙂
