Good luck with that idea, Jimbo. I’m sure there’s a big premium on the property alone. That’s progress.

    I  dislike progress.

I thought I’d give this a shot last year so I purchased a  Cortland Competition Nymph rod,10’6″, 4#. I didn’t want to invest a load of money in something I wasn’t sure I’d like. Tried it a few times last year but still undecided if it’s for me. I  watched all the videos and read George Daniel’s book but I’m a senior citizen and change dosen’t come easy. I may give it another shot this fall. Looks productive on you tube.

I’m voting for Pat. Increasing membership to 1000 did work several years ago. That was a season of increased violation and a lose of lease sites (JDL). Unfortunately my vote didn’t count in 2020 ether.

Ron, Alex, I’m with you on this. I’ve read 4 pages of comments and everyone has an opinion. I’ve been a LAP  member for 11 years and got lucky last year. I was up early but got busy with something else and last track of time. I logged on around 9:00am and got on without a hitch. Number 553. I’ve never had a number with three digits before, so I’m very concerned about this year’s sign up. I believe loyalty deserves consideration. Unfortunately it seems we don’t have a voice or vote in this issue.

    Good luck on 10/1/2021

I don’t see seasonal or annual noted. I think it is still annual because there is no mention of change?

I know the builder in Arkansas (rodsmith mike) I believe. ? He does a beautiful job and I have bought some South Bend parts from him. I didn’t know he ever made a 6 foot rod? Every one I have seen were 7.5 ft..

got it first time at around 10ish. Now it’s already sold out. 10 years ago I signed up in mid October. No rush back then. Now it’s crazy.

Steve, I said the samething when I retired 5 years ago.  Last season I didn’t make it to the river once except for a stocking. I moved here so I would not have to drive back and forth from Houston every two weeks. I’ve got 2.5 acres of cedars I’ve been working on and it’s time to quit and go fishing.

See you on the river,I hope,

Thanks Doug57. My shortcut did not take me to the home page.  I save the link you showed, so I’m good for now.

I’ve been all over the website and I can not find the flow gauges? Can anyone help me with the location?

Where are the flow/temp gauges located on the new web site? I’m lost.
