I was fishing the ledge at #5 when the truck went off the bridge. It seemed like he just drove off the bridge. It was a loud bang for sure. Crews were there almost instantly.
I normally catch 2-3 pairs of sun glasses a year in the Guad…..
It would be great if we could get land owners along the river to put some of these up on their
properties as well. We could fund them, do the work of putting them up etc. The more we can have them visible the better. I think this is a great step forward!
I think this great idea and would be a good use of TU funds.
Congrats JC! Not a nicer guy on the river and he knows his stuff! He is always willing to help and teach anyone who is interested. I’ve learned a ton from him.
Let it fly in Pagosa has good intel.
I bought one of these a few years back and I love it. https://wolffindustries.com/products/atlas. they don’t get advertised, But the quality is very impressive.
Nice fish JC! Looking forward to seeing you on the river this winter!
Just make the area that is all catch and release except one fish, on artificial, over 20″, andm ake it No bait, Single hook, barbless, C&R only. That would be simple and ideal I think.
If you get the chance, Williams Creek outfitters in Pagosa Springs CO specialize in Euro style and they will do a one on one guide trip to teach you everything. But JC is one of the best. He has schooled me a few times.
Joe says if he was still at T&T, these new rods would be the Contact III. We’ll see when they come out. I havent been able to find anything on them online.
I reached out to Diamondback on when the new Euro rods would be available. Direct quote from Joe himself “We are expecting the first few sizes to be available around the middle of March. Pretty soon!”
I’m waiting to see what they come up with.
I wish TU would put a great euro rod on their lifetime members sales area. I’d pay a bit more for it to go to them, and I’m sure they get their rods at a discount from the vendors. That’s how I justified my Sasge X in my pre-euro phase.
does anyone have a Sage ESN? Im looking at the 10’6″ 3wt
